ISO/IEC 17025:2017

The first version of the 17025 standard replaced ISO/IEC Guide 25 and EN 45001. It contains requirements that calibration laboratories like MEA must meet and demonstrate to be accredited as technically competent and able to generate technically valid results.

ISO/IEC 17025 accredited companies are also required to provide services, and operate to, a quality management system that is compliant with ISO 9001:2000. Therefore, MEA is also seen as compliant to ISO 9001.

We were accredited in September of 2009 by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc (PJLA). Our scope currently includes the calibration of Mass, Mechanical, Dimensional, and Electrical Temperature. Our accreditation number is 65779, and specific details regarding our accreditation are available at PJLA's website.
